EFFECTIVE or EFFICIENT
Man do I like efficiency but I like effectiveness better.
Sometimes as leaders we got to be mindful that what is most effective may not be always the most efficient but if our efficiency or lack of efficiency is hurting our effectiveness we have to be willing to adjust that as well. I often think of it as a dance sometimes. You will get it right and it’ll look really smooth and sometimes you tumble and fall. It’s worth staying focused so that your leader ship improves & your organization can thrive.
I believe that effectiveness is greater than efficiency as long as you have the right team players that can be efficient in their roles to help the overall organization move forward. If you do not have the right players, than work of efficiency first and effectiveness will follow.
